Born and raised on an island, Marilyn has always felt a close connection to the ocean and all of its inhabitants. Most of her work is inspired by her love of all things aquatic. Fusing her appreciation for aesthetic beauty with her imagination, she draws most of her inspiration for work from her own head. Her work has been touted as “very powerful expressionism” and “visually riveting.” A multi-talented individual, Marilyn designs and creates paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculptures & semi-precious jewelry.
Marilyn lives in the Pacific Northwest, and when not involved in her artistic endeavors spends most of her time on or in the water, be it ocean, lake, or pool.
